Abstract
Weather and weather conditions are among the most important features that military elites and intelligence operations planners focus on in the next month or year or the unknown future. The possibility of conflict or military operations is very important for armed forces preparing for missions in unknown areas. In order to evaluate the probability of occurrence and influence of climatic elements in the planning of information operations in Khuzestan region,12 synoptic stations in the selected region. And climatic data related to parameters of temperature, wind speed and direction, field of view and amount of rainfall in the monthly period were received from the Meteorological Organization. Then the threshold of climatic elements affecting the planning of information operations was calculated. The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of weather on information planning, so the researcher in this research seeks to answer the question, how can weather affect the planning of information operations? And by using GIS software, relevant climatic parameters were checked and parameters were weighted and ranked using AHP method. Research findings show that the most favorable weather conditions for planning intelligence operations in Khuzestan province are related to the cold season of the year. The hot seasons of the year in this province due to high temperatures and hot temperatures in many cases reduce the possibility of military operations to a minimum or even to zero, and these temperatures in Khuzestan province reach above45degrees and even50degrees.which reduces the possibility of planning intelligence operations and challenges the performance of intelligence and military forces
