Research findings show that the most favorable weather conditions for planning intelligence operations in Khuzestan province are related to the cold season of the year.The hot seasons of the year in this province due to high temperatures and hot temperatures in many cases reduce the possibility of military operations to a minimum or even to zero, and these temperatures in Khuzestan province reach above45degrees and even50degrees.which reduces the possibility of planning intelligence operations and challenges the performance of intelligence and military forces اقلیم و شرایط آب‌و‌هوایی جزء مهم‌ترین ویژگی‌هایی است که نخبگان نظامی و طرح ریزان عملیات‌های اطلاعاتی که توجه خود را به ماه و یا سال بعد و یا آینده‌ای نامعلوم معطوف می‌دارند که احتمال درگیری و یا عملیات‌های نظامی برای نیروهای مسلحی که خود را برای انجام مأموریت در سرزمین‌های ناشناخته آماده می‌سازند بیشترین اهمیت را دارا می‌باشد. برای ارزیابی احتمالات وقوع و میزان تأثیرگذاری عناصر اقلیمی در طرح‌ریزی عملیات‌های اطلاعاتی در منطقه خوزستان12ایستگاه سینوپتیک در منطقه انتخاب‌شده و داده‌های اقلیمی مربوط به پارامترهای دما،سرعت و جهت باد،میدان دید و مقدار بارش را در دوره ماهانه از سازمان هواشناسی دریافت گردیده سپس آستانه‌های عناصر اقلیمی تأثیرگذار بر طرح‌ریزی عملیات اطلاعاتی محاسبه گردید. هدف از این پژوهش ارزیابی میزان تأثیر آب‌و‌هوا بر طرح‌ریزی اطلاعاتی است ازاین‌رو محقق در این پژوهش به دنبال پاسخگویی به این سؤال است که آب‌و‌هوا چگونه می‌تواند بر طرح‌ریزی عملیات اطلاعاتی تأثیر بگذارد؟ و با استفاده از نرم‌افزارGISپارامترهای اقلیمی مربوطه بررسی گردید، و با استفاده از روشAHPوزن دهی و رتبه‌بندی پارامترها صورت پذیرفت یافته‌های تحقیق نشان می‌دهد که بیشترین میزان مطلوبیت آب‌و‌هوایی برای طرح‌ریزی عملیات اطلاعاتی در استان خوزستان مربوط به فصل سرد سال هست.فصل‌های گرم سال در این استان به دلیل داشتن دماهای بالا و در مواقع زیاد دماهای داغ امکان عملیات‌های نظامی را به حداقل یا حتی به صفر می‌رساند که این دماها در استان خوزستان به بالای45درجه و حتی50درجه نیز می‌رسد که امکان طرح‌ریزی عملیات اطلاعاتی را کاهش داده و عملکرد نیروهای اطلاعاتی و نظامی را با چالش روبه‌رو می‌کند.
